What is the opportunity?
In support of employee engagement programs, initiatives and activities to positively impact the overall wellbeing of staff and in support of their engagement in our organizational community and connection to our strategic direction:
To lead the management of a portfolio of programs including new program development, managing details surrounding associated budgets; building relationships and identifying specific terms and program deliverables and performance measurements; and performing follow-up and ongoing program management activities to ensure achievement of program objectives.
The position must establish and maintain regular communication with internal and external groups involved in research, stakeholder consultation, strategic policy development, strategic program planning, program budgets, procurement, contract management, and program evaluation.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, social sciences, humanities, human resources or related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered;
- Related experience is defined as 1+ years in a large organization of:
- Experience leading and managing contract-related activities for programs and achieving objectives (preference may be given to applicants with employee program management experience);
- Experience leading programs delivered by third party contractors/agreements;
- Experience in directing the work of others (professional employees and/or consultants).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with and attention to detail when collecting, compiling, analyzing, reporting and presenting information, both orally and in writing.
Nice-to-have
- Change management certification (PROSCI preferred) will be considered an asset;
- Supervisory experience will be considered an asset.
