We are seeking a Project Portfolio Management Analyst for our Project Management Office in the Transformation Services Branch. The Transformation Services branch provides enterprise services to support the execution of the 12|21 corporate strategic plan and service delivery plans and services to ensure architecture alignment across domains. Services include project, portfolio and resource management; enterprise architecture strategic alignment and enterprise architecture design, development and stewardship.
As the PMO Project Portfolio Management Analyst you will:

(1) Establish, maintain and improve the framework, processes, tools and guidelines for project, program, portfolio and resource management (PPM/RM) required to provide appropriate Project Management Office (PMO) services to the organization.
(2) Be the Process Manager for PPM and RM processes and standards. Support the usage and operations within the PMO framework and processes.
(3) Support the portfolio management function of the PMO.

Selection Criteria:

  • Post-Secondary degree in an IT, PM, Business/Public Administration or related field. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification;
  • Four years of experience as a project manager within the last ten years;
  • Three years of proven ability and experience to implement and support PMOs, including PPM related process, tools and systems such as full project lifecycle, business planning, financial management, PM templates, PPM systems (cloud based and/or on premise modern PPM solutions), etc;
  • Five years of experience with multiple project management methodologies such as PMBOK and Agile on different projects. Experience with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle);
  • Five years of experience in working, building and maintaining relationships with multi-disciplinary senior level professionals, including project managers and/or functional managers involved in the development and execution of complex projects.
