Our Enterprise Architecture Team is seeking an Enterprise Business Architect who demonstrates a cross-disciplinary approach to enterprise architecture from business processes, services, value, information (application and data), through to technology (platform and infrastructure).
As the Enterprise Business Architect, you will provide leadership and direction in the overall development, maintenance, usage and stewardship of the enterprise architecture related to a specified discipline. You will lead enterprise or program-level business requirements through traceable transformations of conceptual business architecture artifacts, and constraints and opportunities related to the high level technical solution options and their feasibility. You will also develop strategies, policies, processes and procedures to institute discipline specific architecture principles and standards. This includes: implementing best practices; devising ways to effectively apply the respective discipline expertise to meet the corporate objectives.

Selection Criteria:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline AND four years of related experience; or
  • A Diploma and five years of related experience; or
  • A Certificate or program completion and six years of related experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and seven years of related experience.
     Leadership experience in the development and implementation of large, complex and enterprise-wide business architectures
  • Experience with a wide range of methods, techniques and tools for business architecture such as, but not limited to business functional modeling, service lifecycle modeling, business event modeling, business process mapping, business scenario exploration, value chain analysis, service integration and accountability modeling, program logic modeling and other related disciplines;
  • Experience completing the definition of business architectures in complex, multi-program/multi-client organizations;
  • Experience with information technology providing the ability to integrate and identify information and technology-enabled opportunities to solve business pressures/needs
  • Experience in strategic and operational planning
  • Experience in architecture quality assurance at the project and enterprise level
  • Experience in maintaining, monitoring and enforcing enterprise-wide architectural standards
  • Experience with transformation of business requirements to logical models
  • Experience leading, and participating in, business re-engineering projects
