We are seeking a Business Advisor for our Business Assessment and Design team in the Business Services Branch. As the Business Advisor, you will provide expertise in customer relationship, facilitation, and advisory practices. You will be a is a trusted professional in the delivery of business assessment services to our internal clients; including the assessment of conceptual business models to address business challenges, developing the enterprise prioritization process through business planning, and facilitating the benefits realization program. With the team, you will work to provide background business research and recommendations for tactical input into corporation-wide planning as well as strategic direction for branch business planning and service delivery models.

As the Business Advisor, you will work on activities that are essential for the intake and outcome interfaces of the enterprise project lifecycle:
-At the intake-side, promoting and guiding ideas into concept proposals for information or recommendations for decisions to the appropriate executive and leadership teams.
-During and post-implementation of transformation projects, the team facilitates benefit realization workshops reporting out on the projects' measured outcomes and accomplishments aligned to Pension Corporation's business goals.

You will also build and maintain trusted advisory client relationships with our internal business owners including facilitating annual project planning and prioritization activities.

Selection Criteria:

  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related discipline. An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered;
  • A minimum of three years of experience in business writing for an executive audience;
  • A minimum of three years of experience in documenting, researching, analyzing and assessing a variety of information, identifying priorities and resources and proposing alternative business processes;
  • Proven experience in client relationship management;
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating or presenting to senior management or executive.
