The opportunity

We are seeking an Enterprise Project Manager to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.

As an Enterprise Project Manager, you will bring your expertise in traditional project management approach (PMI PMBOK) and disciplined change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci-ADKAR) to manage key aspects of the projects including change management, risk, stakeholder management, status reporting and financial management. You will be engaged in fast paced, challenging, and exciting work, including projects that will shape the future of our work and support our journey towards becoming an insights-driven organization.

This role requires a collaborative individual to effectively establish and maintain complex working relationships across business area boundaries to ensure that the project plans meet the goals, objectives and mandate of the business areas and that the changes are cooperatively accepted by the business areas.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management along with strong technical knowledge and change management experience gained through implementation of projects that comply with legislative or mandated rule changes. What do you need to succeed?

Must have

  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related field.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • Five years of experience as a project manager using traditional project management methodologies such as PMI's PMBOK or equivalent.
  • Six years of experience with software development, implementation and/or operation of custom, COTS, SAAS software applications using various SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
  • Experience working with Agile principles and practices (e.g. SCRUM).
  • Experience working with formal Change Management methodologies (e.g., Prosci-ADKAR)
  • Experience leading projects to comply with legislative or mandated rule changes.

Nice to have

  • Agile certification (PMI-ACP certified and/or Certified Scrum Master, etc.) is an asset.
  • Change management certification (e.g., Prosci-ADKAR) is an asset.
